What's Next, Really?
A VividNext Introduction to Life After Work
You’ve planned for the money. Have you planned for the life?
What’s Next, Really? A VividNext Introduction to Life After Work invites participants to reframe retirement as a meaningful life transition—not simply an exit from work. In this 60-minute session, we explore why the non-financial aspects of retirement—identity, purpose, relationships, health, and structure—play such a powerful role in long-term fulfillment.

Retire Confidently: Three Conversations Every Couple Should Have
Navigating Life’s Next Chapter Using the VividNext® COMPASS
At VividNext, we believe retirement is not just a life stage—it’s a life transition that deserves intention, conversation, and thoughtful design.
For couples, this transition is especially important. You are not just stepping away from work—you are re-shaping how you live, connect, and move forward together.
Research shows us that retirement satisfaction for couples depends less on money and more on alignment, communication, and renegotiation of roles, time and identity.
The VividNext® COMPASS provides a way to navigate this transition with clarity, alignment, and purpose.

Retire Confidently: Women Choosing What Comes Next
Retirement brings freedom—and a new set of expectations, especially for women.
In this interactive 90-minute workshop, we’ll create space to name the often-unspoken pressures around time, caregiving, and identity that accompany this transition. Together, we’ll explore practical frameworks to help you clarify what you’re ready to leave behind, what you want to protect, and what you want to claim in this next chapter.
You’ll leave with shared language, renewed confidence, and a clear sense of the questions—and choices—that matter most as you move forward.

Retire Confidently: Starting Conversations We Tend to Avoid
Retirement is full of twists, turns, and unexpected crossroads—and suddenly the conversations you’ve been avoiding demand your attention. This session gives you the compass you need to navigate these tricky talks with confidence, clarity, and a touch of humor.
In this lively 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn an easy-to-remember framework for approaching sensitive topics—everything from where you’ll live, to boundaries around babysitting or caregiving, to how much time you want with your spouse.
Through real-life scenarios and interactive exercises, you’ll chart a course for conversations that strengthen relationships, reduce stress, and keep everyone on the same page. Serious skills, real results—and yes, a few laughs along the way.

Cohort Experience
Designing a Vivid Life
Designing a Vivid Life is a research-informed workshop experience that helps individuals intentionally prepare for the non-financial aspects of retirement. Retirement is one of life’s most profound transitions—not simply because work ends, but because familiar structures, identities, and communities often shift or disappear.
This experience focuses on the emotional, social, relational, and lifestyle dimensions of life after full-time work.
Through guided reflection, facilitated conversation, and practical tools, participants explore purpose, relationships, health, and daily rhythms that support long-term well-being.
The experience begins with a virtual welcome session to help participants prepare for the journey ahead. Across six interactive sessions, participants reframe retirement as a beginning, clarify what matters most, and design a personalized roadmap for a vivid and fulfilling next chapter.
Participants leave with greater clarity, confidence, and a practical action plan—ready to step into retirement with intention rather than uncertainty.
In-Person Cohort: Group meets via Zoom on the first date; the following six sessions meet in-person in Omaha, Nebraska.
Virtual Cohort: All sessions are held on Zoom.
